Sörenberg

Majestically towering at 2,350 meters above sea level, the Brienzer Rothorn dominates the Entlebuch Valley. The highest peak in Lucerne received a fresh coat of paint in 2024, now competing in radiance with the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, along with 693 neighboring peaks.

Just below the Brienzer Rothorn lies the alpine jewel of Lake Eisee at 1,900 meters, a paradise for hikers, fishing enthusiasts, and nature lovers. Those who wish to stay longer can settle into the mountain lodge and perhaps even challenge our hut keeper to an arm-wrestling match. 

Close by, nature-bound adventurers will discover an unparalleled moor landscape on the Rossweid. The Sörenberg Moorlands form a unique ecosystem with special flora and fauna and are accessible to everyone. 

For even more action, try the thrilling scooter descents or the summer toboggan run at Rischli. The hiking trail network stretches over 300 kilometers across the Sörenberg Valley, including the breathtaking "Steinbock-Trek".  Along with the spectacular views, guests may also have the chance to encounter wildlife such as ibexes, golden eagles, marmots, and more.
