Once confirmed, your ticket is available via:

  • The Magic Pass app (QR code + downloadable PDF).
  • Your Magic Pass web account (view, download, or print).
  • The confirmation email (PDF attachment).

The ticket includes your personal details, selected route, date, time, and a QR code. Tickets are personal, non-transferable, and valid only when presented with an official ID. 

All passengers must carry a valid transport ticket.

Magic Travel purchases are limited to 7 days in advance to help manage credit availability and ensure that all Magic Pass holders have a faire opportunity to purchase tickets.

No. Magic Travel credits are personal, associated with the holder's Magic Pass number, and cannot be transferred to anyone else.

Yes. You can purchase tickets for all individuals linked to the same Magic Pass order (adults and children). Tickets cannot be purchased for people outside your order.

To help manage passenger flow, it is very important to respect your chosen departure time. In case of connection issues or timetable changes, your ticket will automatically remain valid for the next available connection.

Magic Pass applies credit limits on certain routes to ensure a quality experience and prevent overcrowding at specific times. If no credit is available for your selected departure:

  • Choose another time,
  • Choose another Magic Pass destination, or
  • Purchase a ticket directly via SBB.ch or the SBB app. 

Please note that your Magic Pass transport ticket does not include a seat reservation.

  • Until midnight the day before travel: free cancellation, and the credit will be returned.
  • After midnight the day before and until departure: cancellation is possible, but the credit will be lost. This prevents misuse and avoids ticket re-billing.
  • No cancellation and no lift usage: ticket will be charged at the official rate and remaining credits will be cancelled.

Magic Travel tickets can be booked exclusively via the Magic Pass website or mobile app. Purchase is not possible through SBB channels (website, counters, app, etc.). To buy, you must first create a Magic Pass account. Once logged in, go to the Magic Travel tab, select the Magic Pass holder(s), choose your journey, and use your available credits. 

Half-fare travelcard holders must select the appropriate fare. Tickets can be purchased up until the scheduled departure time. 

To validate your credit, ski lift usage with your Magic Pass is mandatory.

Depending on the type of trip:

  • One-way trip: you must use the ski lifts with your Magic Pass on the day of travel or the following day (D+1).
  • Round trip on the same day: you must use the ski lifts with your Magic Pass on the same day.
  • Outbound and return on different dates: you must use the ski lifts with your Magic Pass at least once between the outward and return journeys.

In the absence of any recorded lift usage with Magic Pass, the transport ticket shall be deemed non-compliant with the combined offer and may be treated as fraudulent use:

  • The Magic Pass holder will be charged the official public transport rate, based on the declared subscription.
  • Any remaining credits for the Magic Pass holder concerned are cancelled.

Eligible participants:

  • Holders of a valid Magic Pass.
  • For journeys from within Switzerland to a Swiss Magic Pass ski resort. Magic Pass holders living abroad can purchase the international portion of their journey separately and use Magic Travel for the Swiss leg.

Not eligible:

  • Magic Pass holders who already have a Swiss General Abonnement (GA).
  • Children with a Junior Travelcard (if traveling with at least one parent).
  • Journeys outside Swiss territory.

Magic Travel is an exclusive benefit for Magic Pass holders. It includes up to 5 public transport day trips (credits) to reach a Magic Pass partner destination in Switzerland during the 2026/2027 winter season (from 01.11.2026 to 30.04.2027), in combination with the use of the ski lifts. 

Each Magic Travel credit corresponds to one trip.

Depending on the type of journey:

  • 1 credit = One-way trip
  • 1 credit = Round trip on the same day
  • 2 credits = Outbound and return trips on different dates (one credit per trip)

Credits are personal, linked to your Magic Pass number, and automatically deducted at the time of booking.

If you lose/forgot your Magic Pass or if it has been stolen, we advise you to go to one of the ticket offices in one of our partner resorts. With your identity card, you can request a duplicate of your card. This costs CHF 40 per Magic Pass card.

If you would like to receive a duplicate at home, you can place an order online from your Magic Pass customer account at www.magicpass.ch (delivery time: 4 days).

Only the physical card grants access to the facilities; the app does not replace the physical card.

The Magic Pass 26/27 is not available for children under the age of 6. It is necessary to visit the stations tickets office to get a valid pass for young children. Please note that partner stations are free to set a tariff for this age group.

For the 26/27 season, people born between 2011 and 2020 are considered 'paying children'.
From the age of 16 (the birth year is decisive), the rates change to the adult price."

Only the "adult" and "child" Magic Pass categories are available (no other discounts).

Validity
The validity of the Magic Pass 26/27 is fixed and annual: from 01.05.2026 to 30.04.2027.

Defective card
We invite you to contact the counter of our partner stations so that they can check the status of your Magic Pass.
If it proves to be defective (without any damage caused intentionally), your card will be replaced free of charge.

Is SwissPass compatible?

The data carriers we use for the Magic Pass are non-transferable cards that cannot be loaded onto the SwissPass or any other data carrier.

As a general rule, only the physical Magic Pass 26/27 card gives you access to the included services.

Bicycles

Bicycle transport is included free of charge with the Magic Pass. To take advantage of this service, you must present your Magic Pass card. An order confirmation, payment confirmation, or photo of the card, for example, is not sufficient.

Dogs

Dogs are not included in the Magic Pass. Prices for their transport vary depending on the station. It is therefore recommended that you inquire directly at the respective station.

Magic Pass offers insurance options depending on your country of residence. Insurance can only be added when purchasing your pass.

1. Residents of Switzerland and non EU countries (Helvetia)

For guests living in Switzerland or outside the European Union, Magic Pass offers two insurance products with its partner Helvetia:

  • Pass Insurance: reimbursement of your Magic Pass if an accident or illness prevents you from using it.
  • Pass + Rescue Insurance: includes Pass Insurance and also covers rescue costs in case of an accident on our slopes.



2. Residents of France and the European Union (Verspieren)

For residents of France and other EU countries, Magic Pass works with Verspieren to provide two dedicated packages:


Pass Insurance
(Cost: 6.79% of the pass price + options)

Reimbursement of your Magic Pass if illness or accident prevents you from using it.

  • Reimbursement calculated on a pro rata basis
  • Medical certificate required
  • A simple way to enjoy your Magic Pass with complete peace of mind.


Pass + Rescue Insurance
(Cost: 12.81% of the pass price + options)

Includes all Pass insurance benefits plus.

  • Rescue costs in case of an accident on the slopes
  • Pro rata reimbursement if illness or accident prevents you from using your pass
  • Intervention and rescue expenses on the slopes
  • Private third party liability cover (€152,450 limit, €150 deductible).

Add
You can add the Pools Option at any time.
Simply log in to your Magic Pass customer account at www.magicpass.ch/en

Validity and access
Once the order has been confirmed, the Pools Option is automatically loaded onto your Magic Pass 26/27 card and you have access to all 18 partner thermal baths. The validity of the Bains option is fixed and corresponds to that of the Magic Pass from 01.05.2026 to 30.04.2027.
(The Pools Option can be read by the thermal baths using the qr code on your Magic Pass 26/27).

Payment method
Only payments by credit card (MasterCard, Visa and American Express), REKA Pay, REKA Rail and TWINT are possible. 

- You can also choose to pay in instalments with HeyLight. In Switzerland, this payment method is only available for purchases of less than CHF 500 (until 8th September 2026). If you wish to order several Magic Passes with payment by instalments, you will need to place individual orders. The Pools Option can be added at a later date. 

Order confirmation
To receive your order confirmation, please click on the link you will automatically receive by email. This will allow you to download your purchase confirmation as a PDF file. If you have not received an email, please check your "spam" mailbox.
The order confirmation alone does not authorise access to ski lifts in partner resorts; only the physical Magic Pass 26/27 card does.

MP number / Magic Pass details
If you do not know your MP number, you can enter your first and last name and date of birth and the system will automatically link to the existing MP number.

For Magic Pass subscriptions ordered after 17 April 2026 : In Switzerland - your order will be processed within 2 working days and delivered as soon as possible.
Shipments abroad depend on the delivery times of the mail services.

If you have not received your Magic Pass by post, please inform us within 3 months of placing your order. After this period, a duplicate must be ordered for a fee of CHF 40.

A new feature allowing you to scan any receipts for payments made with partners, in case you haven't received Magic points, is now available on your app. You can access it from the main menu or via your customer profile (second icon from the bottom of the app) and it's named "My Tickets".

Indeed, some partner offers (see description in the app under the relevant offer) don't automatically grant points, so you'll need to follow this scanning procedure:

  • When making a transaction with a partner, be sure to request a copy of the payment receipt from the payment terminal (not the one from the cash register!) to be able to scan it. 
  • Once you have the receipt in your possession, open your Magic Pass app and:
    • Click on "Scan Partner Ticket" in the main menu of the app or go to the "My Profile" tab (second from the bottom) and click on "My Tickets".
  • You'll then arrive at your library of scanned tickets and should use the button at the bottom of the screen with the "photo +" logo to scan the ticket in question. 
  • An explanation of the procedure will be provided at the top of the page, and you'll be prompted to press a similar button to the previous step to scan the ticket.
  • Once the photo of the receipt is taken, you'll need to select the correct partner from the dropdown list, which only includes partners that don't automatically grant points once the transaction is completed!
  • You'll need to fill out the requested information before sending the receipt for validation to the Magic Pass office. 
  • In your "My Tickets" tab, the ticket will be marked as "processing". It will be notified as "approved" or "rejected" once processed.
  • Once the points are assigned, the ticket and the transaction will be visible in your app. 
  • Please note, this verification and points assignment process may take up to 5 business days!

The spring skiing option allows skiing in the still open Magic Pass stations 25/26 from March 17 to April 30, 2026.

Access is not possible in the new Magic Pass stations with the spring skiing option (Bernex, Domobianca, Hohe Winde, Klewenalp-Stockhütte, Sattel-Hochstuckli and Valbirse).

The option can only be purchased online when ordering a Magic Pass 26/27. You will receive a card with your option within 3 working days, marked "25/26". The Magic Pass 26/27 will be sent to you later.

Customers with a Magic Pass 25/26 do not need this option : The Magic Pass 25/26 is valid until April 30, 2026.

There are two ways to link another person's Magic Pass to your BeMagic account:

The person has a smartphone:

  1. Download the app and create a Basic account by scanning in their Magic Pass and entering their e-mail address. 
  2. Register for the BeMagic program by clicking on "I register" and then on "I link my account". 
  3. Enter the MP number of the person to whom you wish to link your account. 
  4. The "parent account" will then receive a link request notification, which must be accepted.
  5. Once the request has been accepted, the two accounts are linked.

The person doesn't have a smartphone:

  1. The person with the "parent account" must log out of their account.
  2. Reopen their application and scan the QR code on the Magic Pass of the person they wish to link, and enter an e-mail address. (If the person is a child or someone without an email address, please enter a fictional one).
  3. Register for the BeMagic program by clicking on "I register" and then on "I link my account". 
  4. Enter the MP number of the person to whom you wish to link your account, and log out.
  5. The parent account, once reconnected to its account, will receive a link request notification which must be accepted.
  6. Once the request has been accepted, the two accounts are linked.

Your Magics balance will be updated after every transaction with one of our partners. You can choose to receive cashback (money deposited into your bank account). The system is automatic. To do this, you must:

  • Register a Swiss IBAN account number 
  • Have at least 500 Magics
  • Activate push notifications

A transaction results in a push notification, which results in the option of receiving cashback if your Magics balance is sufficient.  

Yes, your Magic points (that are called “Magics”) do expire! 

Your Magics can be accumulated from year to year unless you have not renewed your Magic Pass by midnight on 31st December of the current year. In this case, all your Magics will be lost and your BeMagic account will be deactivated.

If you haven't used any of your registered payment methods with BeMagic partners in the past 12 months, you'll lose all your points. Your account will still be active, and points will start building up again once you make new transactions or use.

A series of challenges are available in the CHALLENGE section of your mobile app. Complete them all!

As soon as you have accomplished a challenge the app gives you added Magics to your account! 

To collect Magics at our partners, you must use one of the registered payment means at the payment terminal. You can now register a credit card, a TWINT account or a debit card in the app. PostFinance cards are not accepted, but TWINT accounts are.

Apple Pay and Google Pay not allowed.

Without a smartphone, it is not possible to enjoy the functionalities offered by the mobile app and the BeMagic program. If you still want to collect Magics when your child uses his Magic Pass, you can create an account via your smartphone and link his account to yours.

Your statistics are counted from the moment you are registered as a BeMagic member. If you used your Magic Pass before you registered, your statistics will not appear in the app.

The Magic Pass mobile application does not replace the Magic Pass keycard. Only the Magic Pass keycard provides access the ski lifts (in summer and in winter).

If you registered without using a payment card but by linking your account to that of another, you will only get Magics while using your Magic Pass. These Magics will be credited to the account of the person you are linked to. 

Yes. If you don't have payment means you can link your account to that of a member of your Magic Pass order who is already registered. Let the registration process guide you. 

Yes. You can register a payment card on your account at any time. This action will result in the unlinking of your account. Your skiing statistics will be saved and you can collect Magics which will be credited to your own account. 

When staying at a BeMagic hosting partner, you will get Magics only if you book directly: by phone, email, or on the partner's own website. He will then be able to validate or invalidate your Magics based on your booking channel. This check can take up to 7 days. Pending means that your transaction is being verified by the partner. Denied means that you booked your stay through another channel and that you will no get Magics this time. Make sure to book directly with the partner to get your Magics!

The Magic Pass mobile app is intended exclusively for Magic Pass holders. When opening the app, you are invited to scan the QR code of your pass. You will see the following information:

  • Email
  • Last Name
  • First Name
  • Date of Birth

Please verify that this information is correct. You can then enter the same password you used to order Magic Pass. If you enter a different password it will be valid for accessing the mobile app as well as for your Magic Pass account on our website. 

If someone ordered your Magic Pass for you, you don't have an account yet. When opening the app, you are invited to scan the QR code of your pass. You will see the following information:

  • Last Name
  • First Name
  • Date of Birth

Please verify that this information is correct. You can then create your own account. Enter an email address and generate a password. These identifiers will allow you to connect to the mobile app. 

Registration is free and only done through the mobile app. Enter your payment mean(s) you use while in resorts and enjoy all the extra benefits. Every time you pay at a partner's with a registered payment method you collect points: Magics.  

Your registered payment method acts as a loyalty card. We only register the imprint of your payment method and no money is taken by the app. Use it at our partners to collect Magics directly in your app!

There are two ways to get Magics:

  • Using you Magic Pass
  • Purchasing from a BeMagic partner

For each use of your Magic Pass you will get 20 Magics. No matter the visited resort. 
For each purchase from a BeMagic partner made with you registered payment means you'll get at least one Magic per CHF spent. 

The minimum basic offer is set to one Magic per CHF spent. Each BeMagic partner can however decide to offer more Magics to its customers. Thus, a partner can offer 2x, 3x, 4x, or even 5x more Magics. Go to the "Offers" section of your mobile app to discover the partners' offers. 

After a transaction with a BeMagic partner, if you have used a payment method registered in the mobile app, Magics will be assigned to you almost immediately. You will see your new Magics level within a few seconds (except for slow internet connections depending on your location).

The Magics collected through your skiing or hiking day will appear on your app within 48 hours. At times when many people are travelling, it may take a little longer for them to appear. Don't worry, they won't get lost!
