Overview of the Magic Travel offer

Magic Travel is an exclusive benefit for Magic Pass holders. It includes up to 5 public transport day trips (credits) to reach a Magic Pass partner destination in Switzerland during the 2026/2027 winter season (from 01.11.2026 to 30.04.2027), in combination with the use of the ski lifts.

Each Magic Travel credit corresponds to one trip.

Depending on the type of journey:

1 credit = One-way trip

1 credit = Round trip on the same day

2 credits = Outbound and return trips on different dates (one credit per trip)

Credits are personal, linked to your Magic Pass number, and automatically deducted at the time of booking.

Eligible participants:

Holders of a valid Magic Pass.

For journeys from within Switzerland to a Swiss Magic Pass ski resort. Magic Pass holders living abroad can purchase the international portion of their journey separately and use Magic Travel for the Swiss leg.

Not eligible:

Magic Pass holders who already have a Swiss General Abonnement (GA).

Children with a Junior Travelcard (if traveling with at least one parent).

Journeys outside Swiss territory.

Yes. Resorts in France and Italy are not included in the Magic Travel offer.

Furthermore, certain Swiss Magic Pass resorts are not included in the offer as they are difficult to reach by public transport:

Springenboden, Faltschen, Heimenschwand, Ottenleue (Egg ski lift), Rossberg, Rüschegg, Selital, Wilerallmi, Les Paccots, Rathvel, Mayens de Conthey, Valbirse.

Credits and terms of use

Magic Travel trips must be strictly linked to the use of Magic Pass with a ski lift company and may only be made during the winter season, from 1 November 2026 to 30 April 2027. Trips can be purchased from 7 days before departure.

  • Single fare → use of the ski lifts no later than the following day
  • Same-day return trip → use of the ski lifts on the same day
  • Return trip over several days → use of the ski lifts at least once during the stay

In the event of failure to comply with Magic Travel’s terms of use or misuse, the Magic Pass customer will be liable for:

  • A flat fee of CHF 250 for Magic Pass service charges;
  • The cost of the fares used if the ski lifts are not used in accordance with the established rules;
  • Where applicable, the difference in fare resulting from an incorrect or incomplete declaration of their public transport travelcards.

Magic Pass also reserves the right to:

  • Cancel the remaining Magic Travel credits;
  • Temporarily suspend the Magic Pass until the outstanding amounts have been paid in full.

Until midnight the day before travel: free cancellation, and the credit will be returned.

After midnight the day before and until departure: cancellation is possible, but the credit will be lost. This prevents misuse and avoids ticket re-billing.

No cancellation and no lift usage: ticket will be charged at the official rate and remaining credits will be cancelled.

No. Magic Travel credits are personal, associated with the holder's Magic Pass number, and cannot be transferred to anyone else.

No. Magic Travel credits are intended exclusively for travel to Magic Pass ski resorts, and their use is conditional upon using the ski lifts with your Magic Pass. They cannot be used to travel to thermal baths.

You are free to start your outbound journey from any Swiss station.
However, your Magic Pass destination must be the same on the way there and on the way back. Some destinations have several stops when they are part of the same interconnected ski area. You can then arrive at one stop and leave from another, sometimes even from a different resort, provided both are linked by ski within the same ski area.
