Insurance


Magic Pass offers insurance options depending on your country of residence. Insurance can only be added when purchasing your pass.

1. Residents of Switzerland and non EU countries (Helvetia)

For guests living in Switzerland or outside the European Union, Magic Pass offers two insurance products with its partner Helvetia:

  • Pass Insurance: reimbursement of your Magic Pass if an accident or illness prevents you from using it.
  • Pass + Rescue Insurance: includes Pass Insurance and also covers rescue costs in case of an accident on our slopes.

2. Residents of France and the European Union (Verspieren)

For residents of France and other EU countries, Magic Pass works with Verspieren to provide two dedicated packages:

Pass Insurance
(Cost: 6.79% of the pass price + options)

Reimbursement of your Magic Pass if illness or accident prevents you from using it.

  • Reimbursement calculated on a pro rata basis
  • Medical certificate required
  • A simple way to enjoy your Magic Pass with complete peace of mind.

Pass + Rescue Insurance
(Cost: 12.81% of the pass price + options)

Includes all Pass insurance benefits plus.

  • Rescue costs in case of an accident on the slopes
  • Pro rata reimbursement if illness or accident prevents you from using your pass
  • Intervention and rescue expenses on the slopes
  • Private third party liability cover (€152,450 limit, €150 deductible).

Indemnity calculation

The value of your pass is divided into 15 days of use.

If you are unable to use your pass due to illness or accident, the unused days can be reimbursed.

Compensation is calculated as follows:

Helvetia examples (Switzerland & non EU)

  • Pass price CHF 400, used 3 days from 1st November (15 − 3 = 12)
    refund CHF 320 (400/15*12)
  • Pass price CHF 660, used 5 days from 1st November (15 − 5 = 10)
    refund CHF 440 (660/15*10)
  • Pass price CHF 800, never used (15 − 0 = 15):
    refund CHF 800 (Full price)

Verspieren examples (France & EU)

  • Pass price  € 455, used 3 days from 1st November (15 − 3 = 12)
    Refund  € 364 (455/15*12)
  • Pass price € 750 , used 5 days from 1st November (15 − 5 = 10)
    Refund € 500 (750/15*10)
  • Pass price € 900, never used (15 - 0 = 15):
    Refund € 900 (full price)

* Days of use before 1st November are not counted. From 1st November, 1 day of skiing or 1 spa entry = 1 day of use.

Without insurance, Magic Pass cannot offer any reimbursement in case of illness, accident, or rescue costs.

Claims for the 2025–2026 season must be submitted by 31st July 2026.
