Saas-Fee

The car-free glacier village of Saas-Fee stands as one of the most spectacular winter sports destinations in the Alps. Surrounded by a majestic crown of 18 peaks reaching over 4,000 metres, guests are treated to a unique mountain and glacier panorama. Thanks to its high-altitude location, snow is guaranteed at heights of up to 3,600 metres.

With roughly 100 kilometres of slopes and 23 lifts, the high-alpine resort of Saas-Fee provides perfect conditions for all skill levels. The terrain offers everything from wide, easy-going runs to challenging slopes that descend from 3,600 down to 1,800 metres. For those seeking extra variety and an adrenaline rush, various snowparks and the competitive CUPRA-Races are scattered throughout the area.

Another highlight is a ride on the Metro Alpin, the world's highest funicular railway. It whisks you directly to the Allalin excursion site and its iconic revolving restaurant, the Mittelallalin, at 3,500 metres. Once there, you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama alongside the interactive VirtuAllalin experience. This virtual adventure is a must-see for tech enthusiasts and fans of immersive action.

Beyond the downhill thrills, Saas-Fee offers a wealth of diverse activities away from the slopes. You can explore pristine winter hiking trails, well-maintained cross-country ski tracks, and exhilarating toboggan runs, ensuring there is plenty of fun for everyone in the heart of the mountains.
